It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Kyle Hailey, a valued employee of Trinity Alps Unified School District.
Kyle touched the lives of countless students, colleagues, and families through his dedication, kindness, and commitment to serving our schools. His loss is being felt deeply throughout our district, and our hearts are with his family, friends, coworkers, students, and all those who knew and cared for him.
We recognize that this news may be difficult to process. During times of loss, our strength comes from supporting one another with compassion, grace, and understanding. We encourage our students, staff, and families to reach out for support and to take care of themselves and one another in the days ahead.
Across the district, the well-being of our students and staff remains our highest priority. To support our school community during this difficult time, the Trinity County Office of Education Mental Health Team and Trinity County Behavioral Health Team are on-site and working alongside district staff to provide counseling and grief support services.
The Trinity County Sheriff's Office is the lead agency handling this matter. At this time, we do not have any additional information to share, and out of respect for Kyle's family and the ongoing process, the district will not be releasing further details. This 3-day leadership experience focuses on character, communication, decision-making, teamwork, and leadership development through interactive activities and challenges. While inspired by President Ronald Reagan’s leadership principles, the summit is centered on leadership growth — not politics.

Testing season is officially DONE! 🎉
Thank you to all of our students and staff for their hard work and flexibility throughout the school-wide testing schedule. Starting tomorrow, Trinity High School will return to our normal daily bell schedule! (Tomorrow is Wednesday, so Study Hall schedule tomorrow!)
Only juniors and seniors who still need to complete testing will be scheduled for make-up sessions at a later date, and additional information will be shared directly with those students.

Athletes of the week! 🐺🥎 Jessica Brown pitched great in the game last week Friday, which was senior night. She has made lots of great memories playing softball over the years.
Carver Dresselhaus did great at the meet last Friday in pole vault getting 11’ 6”and in the 4 by 4 running a 53 second split. He has also made some good memories In track during his time here @ THS. 🏃🏻♂️
